2d panel frozen

Hello
I hope someone can help me. I have recently bought a brand new computer which should easily run FS9, I have installed it but when I start the simulator the 2d panel is completely frozen. Everything is there as it should be but nothing moves, if you do try and move something ie the throttle, the engines spool up but the throttle never moves. To add to my confusion if I move something, say a light switch, it does not move but if I press alt and go into a menu then come back the switch has moved. Has anyone heard of this before?

It would help if you let us know your system specs, and what version of Windows you are using.
One thing you can try is to delete the FS9 cfg file and see what happens
Finding this file depends upon what version of Windows you are using.
The other question is does this only happen to 1 aircraft or every aircraft you have?
If only 1 aircraft which aircraft are you having problems and where did you get it at? Or is it a default aircraft.
