Problem with camera views

Hello everybody.
I'm facing a problem since last week in FS9 Flight Simulator 2004.
When I try to change the "camera view" to see cockpit/outside/tower views, the view doesn't change at all, even if in the settings both keybord key and joystick button are the same.
I've tried to restore a recent backup of program/data but it doesn't work anyway.
My PC is Windows Vista SP2 but, since last week, I haven't installed any program or any Windows update that could create problems with the game.
Do you have any idea about what happened, or what can I do to have the camera view working again?
Thank you

K from Italy

Ciao,

Make a back up copy of your "FS9.CFG", or rename it. Restart FS9/FS2004, and reset all of your settings. FS9 will create a new "FS9.CFG". That should take of your problem.

Doing this will cause you to loose any keystrokes you may have created.
You should be able to edit your settings and change the keystroke back to the default one with out losing other assigned keystrokes you may have made.
Now if you have not changed or added any keystrokes than the above is the way to go as it is quick and easy.

Hi there,
thank you for your info. It took me 15 minutes to find the right hidden folder where the FS9.CFG file was in, but now my FS9 is running in the right way again.
Yes, I've lost my own configurations, but that's not a problem.
Now I've saved up the brand new FS9.CFG file, for eventual future use.
You've been very kind, thank you very much

K.

Replacing keystrokes is a minor inconvenience when your having problems that will get fixed by redoing your fs9.cfg.

kikkakonekka, Glad you got it going the way it is supposed to. And yes, it is a very good idea to keep a back up copy of your fs9.cfg whenever you've made changes.
