:o How about one plane for each of the 100 years, civil or military? Might take some time to load though! :o

A complete instruction manual!  I'm new to flight simulation and would much rather have paid the extra bucks for a manual.  I spent nearly $40 on ink and several hours of printing.

Yep, takes up an entire 3" binder.  Now I can read/learn about flight sim without being infront of the computer.  It helped.

I have found that the majority of the fs2k2 manual is a reprint of the fs2k manual, which I own in hardcopy.

I think it is very annoying as I cannot get to grips with reading material from a screen.  In addition you have the problem that you cannot fly with the manual open in front of you.  You can only cut bait or fish.  Not both.  Shame on software producers.

Like to see a Copilot multiplayer mode so that two players can connect to each other across the internet and see exactly the same things on their screen, just from slightly different viewpoints - one in the captains seat the other in the copilot seat.

I did notice that Microsoft has no plans to include vintage jet transports in FS2004.
I want to see the commercial jets that made civil aviation the way we know it today. Such as...
Concord
Boeing 707
Avro Canada Jetliner
Airbus A300
de Havilland Comet

I would also like to see more detailed airports in major cities such as Miami and Toronto.
[center]I only pretend to know what I'm talking about. Heck, that's what lawyers, car mechanics, and IT professionals do everyday. ;)
The Rig:
AMD Athlon XP2000+ Palomino, ECS K7S5A 3.1, 1GB PC2700 DDR, Geforce FX5200 128mb, SB Live P

I would really like to see MS include AI Helicopters and ATC allowing you to take off from a helipad not having to grind your way to the end off the runway dosen't seem to work very well with skids.
I know a lot of you are after all sorts of different aircraft but most of these are available on the net for free already.
One thing that would also be nice is if MS got the terrain meshing and texture right. One of our large Southern lakes has a huge waterfall across it would make boating on this lake rather difficult.
HEY MICROSOFT THERE IS A LOT OF LOCAL TALANT IN OTHER COUNTRIES YOU ONLY NEED TO ASK AND THEN YOU WILL GET THE SCENERY RIGHT I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THE CORRECT NEW ZEALAND MESHING AND TEXTURE IS NOW AVALIABLE FOR FREE at geographx.co.nz and this guy is a professional map writer. The default MS meshing and texture for New Zealand is Crap!

I would really like to see mirages on the runways on hot days.  Also add heat exhaust to jet engines.  ATC spacing on approach is a must.  I would love to hear ATC tell me to slow to 140 for spacing.  Another thing... multiple runways in use at the same time

Add voice to multiplayer mode(like RW). How hard can it be?

orenda635, I just saw your post about Orbiter.  I'd like to add that Orbiter does a great job of simulating take off (well, blast off anyway) and it's a wonderful and detailed simulator as long as your flying around the solar system.  Where it fails IMO is on landing in an atmosphere.

It would be great to have Orbiter switch over to MS Flight Sim once you dropped below FL1000.  As I said, Orbiter is fine for conventional rocket takeoffs, but if you wanted to simulate a space plane that takes off from a runway, you could have flight sim switch over to orbiter above, say FL900.

I realize that each switch between programs would take a couple of minutes, but it would make for a visually stunning experience.

I belive that they have already encoperated the multi runway thing. maybe they could have just a traffic on one side not whatever one you are comming from? and at a specific altitude?
