Good evening,

I was well advised to keep reading this topic.
I downloaded the beaufighter again and try to modify the aircraft config as shown.

IT WORKS !!!!

Hagar and this forum are the greatest.

Thanks a lot

MC

You're welcome. So glad it works for you. ;)

I made the changes as suggested and all that happened for me is the tailwheel disappeared into the ground and the plane won't move at all.
I've checked and double checked that I've entered it correctly.

Any ideas?

Zaphod.

I suspect you made a typo or changed the wrong entry. This is very easy if you don't know what you're doing. Try copying the complete point.0 line direct from my last reply & pasting it into the Beaufighter Aircraft.cfg replacing the existing entry. If this doesn't work I can easily mail you my modified CFG.

Hagar.

I've cut and pasted, and pasted and cut untill I'm blue in the face. The tail wheel still dives into the concrete as soon as I add the modified contact point.
If you could e-mail me your Modified CFG I would be in very gratefull (again). :)

Cheers.

Zaphod.

Outstanding!!
We (or at least I) am not worthy.

Many thanks for all the help. I think this may become one of the favourite planes in my collection.

Cheers.

I take it that worked then. ;D

You're right, it's an excellent piece of work. Shame it has those few little bugs or it might have some rave reviews. We all benefit as without you I would never have tried it. ;)
