If it doesn't already appear in the list, I add this line under the: [Brakes] entry in the aircraft.cfg.....

[brakes]
parking_brake = 1
Win 8.1 64-bit. DX11. Advent Tower. Intel i7-3770 3.9 GHz 8-core. 8 GB System RAM. AMD Radeon HD 7700 1GB RAM. DVD ROM. 2 Terra Byte SATA Hard Drive. Philips 17" LCD Monitor. Saitek Cyborg X Fly-5 Joystick. ...and a Briggs and Stratton Petrol Lawn Mower.

Meh... a little practice, especially with differential thrust (even when using only one throttle device and key commands to switch engines), and it's not that hard to taxi even the Tri-Motor.
It's not easy, mind you, but it just takes a little practice.
a steerable tailwheel on a DC-3... sacrilege!!  >:(   ;)

Practise, smactice.....it now steers thanks to stewpot's tip, without all this 'one throttle device & key command' fiddle faddle.  You'll be saying next I should disable/remove the Auster's AP........ :D :o ::)

The answer is to invest in a new joystick with twist-grip rudder. ;)
