Thanks, John. Maybe it could be a little more ... obvious? Like a separate sticky? If it was there front-and-centre on the FS9 board under Dave's FAQ, there'd be no doubt about site policy on this.

When such a request appears, I don't suppose its very long before one, of the more, knowledgeable Member(s) will PM them, and guide them helpfully in the direction to their request...;)...!

Had I read the sticky, the question would never have been asked.  Now that I've read it and the litany of responses, there's obviously some interest.  Microsoft, in their inimical way, has once again created a stumbling block with little or no regard for the end user and, with FSX now top of the heap, chances of a fix seem slim to none .
