I guess the question now becomes, how are you planning on replaying the video. If you want to use FS9 to replay it, you can use the new recorder module by Matthias. It's alot better than the default replay/recorder. Below was from the ReadMe, enough info to find it.

The current version is a public beta version, it is not yet fully
tested and probably contains bugs.

Installation, Usage, Support
============================
Installation, usage and support information can be found in the included PDF manual.
READ THE MANUAL BEFORE USING THE MODULE, IT INCLUDES SOME IMPORTANT NOTES TO AVOID PROBLEMS!

Changes in version 0.72
-----------------------
- the exterior and VC light problems reported by some users should be solved now
- added "clear replay data on flight or aircraft change" option to settings dialog
- added "pause at end" option to settings dialog
- added 1/8 sec recording interval (requested by a user)
- added feature to stop playback at current position (without jumping to the end)

Here's a 5 min+ video I just made using the latest unregistered version
of FRAPS. I converted it to a low bandwidth WMV format for uploading.
Originally it was several 30 second  640x480 25FPS AVI's, each of around
50-80MB's in size.

The WMV file is only 6 MB in size. It has sound, however I didn't
add annotation as I usually do.

It's a CAT shot of my A6E from the USS Roosevelt steaming west
off the Golden Gate. I used P. Clawson's movable "USS Stennis"
which I moved to the SF position, added the CVN-71 Island to create
the Roosevelt incarnation and surrounded it with 2 DD's, 2 DDG's,
2 supply ships, a BB and a submarine...all static of course created
from API's available on various sites. I also added some static aircraft
to the Roosevelts deck.

After the launch I turn left and overfly the static USS Kittty Hawk, the
default FS9 CV off San Francisco, to which I added some aircraft on
deck. Nect to the Kitty Hawk is a fleet of WWII AI vessels that begin
to get underway during my flyover. I have these programmed to steam
into San Francisco Bay and dock there.

Also in "my Navy" but not seen in this short clip are several AI Coast
Guard vessels and another AI Nimitz class carrier that start in the
bay over nearAlameda and steam out the Golden Gate.

Unfortunately, to reduce the download size of the video clip it is rendered
at 320X240 but will give you an idea of what can be done with FRAPS
and Windows Movie Maker.

I will be removing this video clip in a few days to "preserve" my bandwidth
on my CRIS utility site so grab it now.

I'll probably upload a short video of the CV "trap" that I made after this
CAT shot/flyover in a day or two...

With regards to recording video in Fs2004 pro - that is straight forward - but after the video has recorded where can it be found in the MSFS2004 directory where all the program files are - have recorded several videos and labelled them but cannot find them after I exit MSFS2004.

Please can anyone help
