There are no FSX Colt for the moment, so yes, it's still a pure FS9 model ;)
There are two models, ski version and wheel version. You will have to edit the panel.cfg and sound.cfg of the ski version because the folder name in the alias is incorrect.

Here is the Readme in the archive:
Upgrade versions An-2 2007 year. Change are made basically for VC (are taken into account all remarks of users for VC),
is collected together all additions for the winter variant of plane, add textures(2 winter text. and 8 summer text. (including textures by Roman E. Krauss).
This version is designed for FS2004 only. Detailed description models is enclosed in An2_manual.doc.
Autors: V.Zhyhulskiy (model, VC, panel, gauges, textures), Roman E. Krauss (textures).

I think the square is due to the fact that you must have overwritten your light effect with a bad one.

Here is the LIGHTS section of the An-2 I'm using:
[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0 = 3, -19.0,-28.8, 5.3, fx_navredc
light.1 = 3, -19.0, 28.8, 5.3,  fx_navgrec
light.2 = 4, -26.20,   0.00,  1.95, fx_vclight ,
light.3 = 4, -13.20,   0.00,  2.59,  fx_vclight ,
light.4 = 4, -20.20,   0.00,  2.09, fx_vclight ,
light.5 = 4, -15.20,   0.00,  2.90, fx_vclight ,
light.6 = 5, -17.05,   -19.30,  -1.85, An2_land ,
light.7 = 5, -17.05,   19.30,  -1.85, An2_land ,

I suppose you should ensure that the effect files listed above are originals.

Here is how they look on my computer:

Commoner, in fs2004 downloads vintage page#72 there's a fix for tailwheel steering. It changes a value in the [contact_points] section of the Aircraft.cfg. This might help your AN-2 taxiing problem. As for the landing lights, I'm clueless. Thanks again for the re-starting help. And you're right, she is a sweet old gal.  Jaypee

Sorry Commoner, I did'nt read ahead to the second page to see you already fixed the tailwheel steering. I used the default landing light effect 'fx_landing' to replace the square image from the suppied one but I moved it forward so it's not sunk into the leading edge. Thanks for the tip on the nav/gps switch. J.P.        Beautiful car by the way!

....Yes thanks....the car is nice....I think I mentioned somewhere that it is now in Switzerland...I "donated" it to my son who is better able to keep the old girl up to speed......... ;D

Unlike vintage cars about which I am strictly a purist when it comes to spares, mods etc...I like my FS a/c to be "as I like 'em"....I've changed a few things here as you might see........the nav/gps switch was the wrong way as I mentioned and I have gone for the more familiar Garmin 500 GPS..the Radio stack I am more used to and I have ripped out the Radio Altimeter for one I can read at a glance :P.........the Heading hold came on with the AP and I have stopped that which I always found annoying.......

.........not sure what I will do next but I'm really having fun with this baby.....commoner ;)
