No, your stick should be as sensitive as possible, because you need to be able to direct the smallest input to the chopper.

You're probably right on the sensitivity.
But what about the null zone.
I get them mixed up (with senior moments 67 yrs old).
It was something about having more movement allowed in your stick than you would with fixed-wing before something else happened.
oh heck, I don't know what I'm talking about and I can't find that tutorial.
What is your null zone set at; and what is your sensitivity set at.
Would it be possible to show a screenshot of your setup ?
Heck, I might even try to try helocopters again not in the easy mode.
