Back to Stormtrooper's original question, guys! ::)

It defiantly a system problem. If I were you, try a repair install of windows. At least if you do that, you won't have to completely reinstall every thing, if that is, it works.
AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE 3.6ghz, 4gb RAM, Palit GTX 460 1 gb, OCZ 750W, Windows 7 64bit
