Looks like you got a program which gives you the ability to move your view like you'd move your head. Is it included in the plane? If not, is it freeware? Does it need much ressources?

its called TrackIR. I paid $215 for it. Found out I could have gotten it cheaper at eDemensional.

What did you pay for the PMDG 747?

$54.99 The best investment I have ever made for a PC game. I'm not too keen on buying addons but I'm glad I did. I'm thinking of either getting the 747-400F or a 737NG

I saw your KLAX-landing:  Shocked great! I couldn't see if you did ILS or VFR, what was it?

It was an ILS flight plan.

I'm trying to land without the use of the APP. Much like what a 747 pilot did on a DVD I watched from Heathrow to San Fransico. He had the localiser button on so he was pretty much lined up with the runway. Autothrottle was on. and he would set the verticle speed and the altitude and would correctly descend onto the runway without ever using a APP. So thats what I'm trying to do currently.

EDIT: I just did a landing without the APP button. Still autopilot though but I was in control of the descent speed and altitude. I'll upload the video later on tonite.

I only uploaded one video in times I had one unregistered FRAPS-version, it's just a simple touchdown of a Janet-landing, which is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goMdWU2VL58

Since I got the registered version, I can't film my flights because when I'm recording it looks like watching pictures. Sad

I got the 737 and its worth the money, though it all looks very clean, but the 800-900 upgrade seems to fix that(wich i dont have BTW).

Ah I didn't even think to look in your sig.

All I can say is you need a faster laptop. Wait let me take that back. Get another GB of ram and a 265MB graphics card. I know before I upgraded some of my components on my Compaq computer, capturing with fraps wasn't all that great. I since then added another GB of ram and a nvidia 7600 GS and it works fine. I can most of the sliders in FS2004 on high with dynamic scenry enabled and I don't get any lagging problems.

You can't just put another graphic card into a laptop, it is a non-removable part of the mainboard (at least in my laptop ::))

The extra GB RAM would cost a lot, but it's one of the secondary important things. I'm happy that I can at least fly on it! ;)

You didn't look to my sig? :'( :P ;D ;)
