I love to fly the Kittyhawk 737-200 in Janet livery (picture of real aircraft in my signature).

And like Isak922 said, the default 737 looks like any other aircraft, but it's fun to fly. I mostly fly 737 in german areas (or else). Another amazing plane is the A380 of Robert Versluys.

My favourite aircraft?

Because I always fly commercial airliners, my favourite is my 737/500 BMI Baby!

Image

I have tried hundreds of aircraft over the years but I now do all my flying with this baby. It is reliable, easy to fly and never gives me any problems.

Image

I have modified my panel to include all the gauges that I personnally like, including auto take off and hands off autoland for when I am feeling lazy!

Image

I never get tired of this baby :)

Being Captain Sensible.... 8-)....

My favourite aircraft are General Aviation types:

The Cessna 150/152....the perfect Trainer aircraft; and cheap, economical Tourer.
The Beech Baron Twin 58...for those longer flights.

Commercial, passenger, jet-propelled, shiny cigar tubes have never been on my list of enjoyable aircraft to fly...!

Paul... ;).... 8-)....!

Well, I have the Baron 58 Turbo aforementioned, the only trouble with it, for me anyway is the altimeter not giving a reading in millibars.
Often when flying VFR on Vatsim when you arrive at an airfield the atc gives you the QFE in millibars (being inUK) so I have adapted the panel and fiited an alternative altimeter. So all is now fine.

I also fly a nice model of a EMBRAER 810D SENECA III

Big Tin? Well I have got the PMDG 737 package, but not dared try and learn to fly it yet. I often fly jets for a VA but usually with simple panels.

Here's my favourite:

737 goes Hard Rock

Rotation at KLAS

Image
This one was the immediate moment after rotation. I love to do the turn directly after the rotation.

P.S.: Kittyhawk 737-200, Janet Livery

I love it because of its good FDEs. You can speed up very fast, slow down without excessive sinkrate and make amazing turns! You also have fun on the taxiway! :D

One negative point: The updated FDE's are bad (heavy rotation problem) and there is no VC. :'( :'(

I must agree with Fozzer on this but I all so like the C172 ;)

Mr.Mugel. Just tried your suggestion on the Mustang. It's good, no doubt. But i've been flying Tanakas P51 aces for a long time. He made a hell of a flying aircraft. Maybe therefore, i am not easy to convince of anything better.
Tho, if i move the panel into your plane, still get the VC, then i have a lot of fun flying them both.
Love the differencies.

Conan; like you, I fly cigar tubes also! I'm usually to be found in a 737 of some description, with custom FDs for each type. Here's a selection:

-200 (have the Janet also but this is another great repaint for the Cantu model) with the TinMouse II panel:

-300 (FFX) with my custom maximum-visibility panel:

-700 (737 Experience) with the G Planes/Posky panel:

Often to be found in the Cantu 727 (-100 or -200) or the Meljet 777 also!

Somewhere I read that the old 737-200 which have not been sorted out got new panels. And because I don't understand the old panels (I mean the autopilot) *lol*, I use a new panel from SIMV. So it's close to here and now and the old times. ;D No, I'm not a cheater.  :P

I use "FS2004 Boeing 737-800 Ultimate Panel" for all default and additional aircrafts. http://www.simviation.com/fs2004panels28.htm

For the 737-experience, I use this one as 2D and the virtual gauges which were in the package (I don't use the original moach-panel because of the low framerate it creates).

if there is one thing i have learnd from this topic is that there is no one single aircraft thats the best. every flyer has his or her on likes and dislikes so look around figure out what you like and eventualy everyone will find the aircraft that they love. so far it looks like the 737 is a popular jet. but who would be suprised by that aneway the sheer volume of 737s in the real world tells its popularity. :)
big or small i like them all ...? that dosent sound right
slew mode dose not count as flying

I would have to choose the EASA X-02 Wyvern as my favorite. It can go super fast.  :)

I am just a train fan who happens to like flying and attempting to get the better of the mods especially those with 20/20 vision ;D ;D

I think the default 747-400 is a fine flyer,

but I also love the 757-200 download from deltava.org

It has a built in co-pilot with audio, seat belt signals, really good sound ( :)) and a lot of more features
