Frankly speaking i usually crash when i'm in a medium or heavy (aircraft) and there is high winds and bad weather. This happens only when i don't use the autopilot (approach mode or any other assistance) in these conditions.

And Ah!!!!!! After a crash i feel.........."what the hell was i thinking".  :-X

If you look at my name I should crash a lot but it doesn't happen that often to me (anymore). Practice makes perfect, they say.

Crash ;)

I hardly crash, that's because i hardly play the game these days.. My last flight was on a Sunday 2 weeks ago, Schiphol - Heathrow in a Bmi A320, taxiing to the runway took longer than the flight! I was in a queue of at least 20 aircraft, pushback 1840, gear up 1920! Landed just in time for "Top Gear"  ;) .
Rob.
P.S. On a side note, whilst queuing at AMS a lot of aircraft were flashing their lights behind me, what's that all about? Was i doing something wrong? It's never happened before. (BTW I have NL2000 v2.9...GREAT addon, though not for dialup...(220MB)).

I have crashed a lot just screwing around doing stuff like looping 172s at 500 ft., trying to make deadstick landing on highways in airliners, etc, but I've only crashed once on a legitimate flight.  I just started the ATP lessons a few days ago and was flying the landing solo flight when i apparently set down too hard and overstressed the gear.  Also on my very first landing ever in a jet my wings were banked and the right gear went into the ground and i went skidding along the runway and stopped in the weeds.  Fortuneatly the only casualty was the American Pacific klunker I was flying.

I prefer crashing and capturing the moment on a screenshot. Icant do long haul flight so when im bored i dont end flight i low into whats on the ground a great stress reliever, or i completely shut off engines and watch the plane slowly decline  8)

I hardly crash, unless either the airplane or the weather is acting up. Honest.

If I take upon myself to try flying a helicopter, though... it's a safe bet I'll crash somewhere, or have the engine die on me while trying to hover (never understood this behavior of helos), or I'll misjudge something, or...

In the end the helicopters are invariably my (simulated) death. :(
There's but one real cure for human stupidity. It's called DEATH.

At the moment mourning the assassination of sarcasm and irony for the good of the "higher".

sadly I crashed on Vatsim over the atlantic when literally fell asleep on my desk right in front of the computer, what woke me up was the vibration of my force feedback. But it was particularly embarrising because three KLM and three Delta pilots crossing the pond saw the whole thing happen.

A few days later I got a funny e-mail from one of the pilots that witnessed the "tragic" accident.

We, several friends and I, had the unique experience of watching you overfly Toronto Sunday morning and pancake into the ocean off the coast of Canada.

I hope you didn't mind the remarks we sent you after the incident. They were all sent with a smile.

I crashed once in the last month because an online atc controller vectored me for a visual approach.  Which was ok, but the weather was minimum visibility, and I had to make a sharp right turn near the threshold.  Naturally, it clipped my wong  :-[

One while playing '98 at school (tech class), I crashed in the Hong Kong landing. Right into a building. :-/ My friend had been talking to me and I wasn't paying attention.

Well i usually misjudge the landings, and either overshoot or undershoot the runway, which isnt usually good in a heavy comjet.  I also try to do daring landings such as getting a 777 into Plymouth City Airport.  I have crashed a 747 doing a loop at 10000ft, but i have successfuly done hammerheads in C-130's with feet to spare !
