...lol....not sure just how I got these effects but must have been a download of some sort...FS9 doesn't do this by default I don't think...I]

Hi
All aircraft will show fire and smoke if ya hit to hard,
some aircraft (default included) will also shear of parts
But you need to add
visual_damage=1
to the [fltsim.#] sections (it may work in the [general] section as well, never tried it)
cheers

Cheers might give it a go...i believe theres a CFS3..?

I'm a bit of a CFS3 advocate, but as it's the only Sim I have at the moment that's not much of a recommendation.

AIUI CFS2 can utilise planes from the FS series (02 and 04 at least).

CFS3 cannot, but then, it can do this.....

Great fun, as Fozzer says, CFS is for crashing and burning (little man to the left was getting hot toes!)

so if i purchased cfs2 or 3 your sying i can drop bombs in a jumbo jet?
or chase wwII combat fighters in a leajet or schwizer(er watever its called)

Being a non-violent, General Aviation pilot sort of a bloke, (except when I'm on my bike!), I put FS 2002/2004 GA planes into CFS 2 merely to take my passengers over the hills and valleys, rolling countryside and islands of CFS 2, (WWII Pacific Theater), with not a single enemy aeroplane in sight, not a single bullet fired, or a single bomb dropped...
...just a leasurely, sight-seeing trip in another "game"... 8)...!

FS 2004 = General Aviation.
CFS 2    = Generally dying....(Except when accompanied by Fozzer)... ;)...!

Cheers all...;D...!!

..is what "hard to do"...?

Roller-skating on one leg, whilst juggling three cats and singing God Bless America, all at the same time...?

...or something else...?

how about skiing on pavement juggling four chainsaws and screaming "were gonna rock the house down"

I taking a cessna seaplane from fs9 and putting it into cfs2.... is it majorly complicated?
(don't forget the cat food too)

Now it makes sense...by including the quote... ;)...!

You do exactly the same in CFS 2 as you do when adding downloaded planes into FS 2004 folders....!
...same process... ;)...!

Paul.

You will have to experiment tho' to see if the "seaplane" can land successfully on water in CFS 2.....no problem with land planes...!
