Probably like most, I tend to fly around home (Edmonton Alberta) - indeed, not much to see with the default scenery but I'm working on some addon items to overcome all that.

Try Kai Tak (old Hong Kong). Landing on runaway 13 with "heavies" in bad weather is terrific. Recomended the addon scenery available here and the superb payware Hong Kong 2004. Regards.

I live in BC, Canada on Vancouver Island so I like to fly around the island to the different airports and around the rest of BC.  I also like to fly around California because I spend a lot of time down there and there is some pretty good scenery.

I like to fly around my home in RI, USA.
This is the smallest state in the USA, and it has 8 airports to hop to, you can hit every airport in the State of Rhode Island (touch and Go) in about 2 hours.
I purchased the best scenery I have ever seen for a flight simulator that is the state of Rhode Island ( just check my sig)
I also like to fly in Hawaii, Love the scenery there.
I love to fly around Manhattan too.

Lately I have been flying a lot online with real ATC out of the Airflyers Seattle center.  Do a lot of FedEx hops real time and weather from cargo gates at KSEA to cargo gates at KGEG (Spokane) and back.

But also fly a lot in Japan offline.

best,

For my VA, I'm based out of KJFK (I used to be based out of KPHL, my home town, but real-life Delta moved all crews out of there so VA did it too ::)).

My hops usually start with an early morning flight down to Florida (MIA, FLL, PBI), followed by a tour of the West coast after a flight to one of the major Delta hubs off the east coast (ATL, CVG), then flying return legs that usually bring me to ATL, where I fly back to JFK.  Then it starts all over again ;)

When I take a break and go corporate (K350, L45, etc.) I'm usually flying all over the Western US, having a blast ;D
