THE HELICOPTER LANDING GEAR TO WORK WITHOUT HAVING TO PAUSE THE GAME.

and pretty much just make the helis better like:

start and shut sounds,
longer start up time on the jetranger not the same time as the fixed wings.
and mabye an animation tag for a winch but thats not to important.

Actually is there anyone here who is a beta tester, I remember some people hear last year who were taking pictures for people on certain areas of the game, like the wings breaking off and the atc.

If there is anyone here who is a beta tester, mabye they could try out some of these things, atleast they could fix it before we pay ms any more money.

2 more things:
1. flyable north and south pole regions
2. capability of going super sonic (i.e. a boom noise and maybe some blur textures at that speed

And make it a space flight simulator also?

Would love to take the shuttle for a spin around the earth ;D 8) ;)

i don't know about that, x-plane is good for that

1. Weapons: guided missiles and bombs ;D it will appeal to a greater audience.
2. Decent built-in afterburner support.
3. Fighters
4. Real Air-routes.
5. More programmable AI (fly to specific points, not just airports in straight gps)
6. Textures that don't blurr

that would be nice, but 1 and 3 aren't going to happen :(, "civil simulator"

p.s. sorry for my late responses, my computer has been acting up the last couple of days, so i haven't been able to be on the forums
Sincerely,
Me

As someone mentioned earlier, it's too late in the development process to realistically expect that there would be any further changes to this version of Flight Sim - but reality never stopped me before in making a contribution to a wish list- so here goes.

More camera or view controls. It would be nice to be able to offset the point that the chase plane camera is looking at. Right now it's locked to the center of the aircraft and on larger aircraft this means you have to zoom way out to get the whole aircraft on screen.

It would be nice if flight videos could be exported as AVI or WMV files.

It would also be nice to increase the limits on how far you can move the virtual cockpit camera around.

Formation flying - make it easier to set up and do. Someone recently made an excellent model of the SM55, which is the seaplane that was used in 1933 on a massive formation flight from Italy to the world's fair in Chicago. There were even files included in the upload to help re-create this historic flight. Only problem was that you ended up flying alone instead of with 24 other planes because there's no easy way to have formation flying.

Last wish - expand the flight model set up so that more unusual aircraft can be modeled more realistically - example - airships.

In weather I would like tornadoes downdrafts and lightning that makes your electrical system fry. Also startup and shutdown sounds as well as rotor that change pitch and stuff like that. As far as planes go props that change pitch when feathered and opening cargo doors. Jets: you know that blurry effect that you see from the heat of jets I that would be nice. I have said alot oh well I wish M$ would regard all of these wishes and everyones else's.

ya i think that microsoft should have a way to have ppl that use the sim say what they want so it can be just that much better. o and maybe some traffic at uncontroled feilds?

Ummm... maybe we should see what "Century Of Flight" has to offer, before we starting saying "I would like to see this, this, and this"...

I am sure M$ has intentionally failed to include some information in it's website, if they told us everything... It would be like knowing what your parents got you for Christmas! It would take the surprise out of everything.

One thing I would like to see is... AI Aircraft/ATC using multiple runways, for instance aircraft are sent to runway 19R and 19L for takeoffs/arrivals instead of the same runway time after time (I know this can be accomplished with AFCAD and TTools, but it is a pain in the @$$).

I was hoping FSACOF would have more modern aircraft, such as the 727, MD-11, etc. I mean, yeah there are LOTS of the old planes (i love to flyem mind you), but when you want to take those long 2 hour flights.....
I know the game is called 'A century of flight' and tries to show us how we've progressed in just 100 years, but come on. The only modern craft thats new is gonna be the R-22--a chopper.  I guess they'll be much more freeware modern planes comin out when the game hits the shelves. Another thing I expect from this new FS is some better water detail. FS2002 did a good job at it, but Id like to see some large waves and such (..and maybe some typhoons and hurricanes, tornadoes; wouldnt that be cool?) Also, why not add some AI
automobiles to the scenery, to give you a sense that you are not alone. And how bout some birds? As we all know, birds a great threat to aircraft nowadays. And for Multiplayer, id really appreaciate it if the players can see the other person's plane [add-on] if they dont have it. I also hope the aircraft files are still the traditional MODEL/SOUND/TEXTURE/etc. And Finally, i just hope the views in this game are like the ones in fs02, cfs1,2 etc. --not cfs3. Anyways, im gonna read the reviews on FSACOF before buying it......after CFS3, you never know what to expect from M$.

being part of CAP i can tell u that the majority of your flying is Cadet orientation flights. we do fly now and agian if a plane crashes and the Air Force decides to be lazy that day. but with the orientation flights we just do short 1 hr hops and the roughts depend on the pilot. but what might be cool is it down loads real world filed flight plans and will use those but i doupt that will happen. (to much work and 2 many flights) o well.
