I just followed procedure #1: http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;303032

It's really inconvenient, but it works for me.

Pretty sure I've tried all that in the past - still no success.
Now trying removing FSUIPC as that is all I have really added since the problems started again...

Mike
???

PS - Now tried it without FSUIPC on Addon aircraft and default FS9 aircraft - still crashed just after take off on both counts...

Well, it would seem I'll have to put up with flickers and occasional CTD for a while in my FS9.  My 6600GT driver has only been out since October and there probably won't be windows version of it for awhile either. Digital signing.  What kind of pencil necked geek of a dimwhit came up with that brilliant idea.

At least I know now it is nothing wrong with FS9 or it's Add-ons with my system.
Just installed a brand new copy of CFS3 and guess what...?
Yep, crashed on the first mission!

Pretty resigned now to the fact my graphics card just doesn't like the rest of my system.
Anybody else had problems between Gigabyte motherboards and NVidia GPU's?

Mike (the grounded)
:(
