What is it with everyone desperately wanting the next FS game to come out.  When it does, people will be raving about it for about 2 days and then posts saying 'When will FS2008 come out?????' ::) ;)

If you want to know, e-mail M$ first before wasting precious bandwidth on this site, where nearly everyone knows NOTHING about the next Flight Sim.

I think thae should skip FS2006, and concentrate on FS2008, because, by that time, they could have made serious progress, rather than the miniscule differences between 2K2 and 2K4.

In FS2008, they should put:
-Emergencies
-Combat Simulation (Merge it with CFS4)
-The same, old file format (or a converter from old to new format)

They may not be so miniscule....look at the difference between 2000 and 2k2....day and night.  Until we see the differences, its impossible to accurately predict how miniscule they'll be.
Great edit, Bob.

The only thing I would really like to see in the next FS is for it to backwards compatible with ALL of the previouse sims by using some kind of file converter. Merging it with combat sim is a good idea too. But I am happy with FS2004, and not really worried about when the next one will come out.
