Downloading speeds in India

Postby IanK » Fri Oct 15, 2004 3:51 am

Presumably in India etc they don't have or can afford the high speed connections to download free pirate copies of software either!

Flight Simmers don't stoop to pirated software....DO they?.. :P FS9 would be some download on dialup eh ;D

Avijeet you STILL haven't said what sort of computing power you have...........maybe FS9 would be no use to you anyway  :(

Hello,
I carefully worded my reply not to suggest pirating was a solution mearly pointing out that he may be forced to buy the media. But there is a solution as MS sell old versions eg FS98 in Europe for

Hi Ian....regarding older versions of FS...I do have FS2000 which I would gladly donate free of charge to any one who was in a situation where they could not afford to buy. Is there anybody out there who thinks they fit this description? If so they would have to post a mailing address.........free of charge means including postage and packaging 8)........is that a fair offer or what! 8)

Perhaps someone should start a non-profit company called the FS Foundation.  This would be a non-profit organization that would be able to get FS to those that cannot afford it.  Perhaps it could live off of donations and small fees.  Or sell T-Shirts with a free copy of FS. ;D
