Well.... fs9.exe
IS the main program that launches the simulator. If you renem it to something like fs9.old and then install the old no-CD file back as fs9.exe......... then you start the program....what you are running is fs9.exe the
OLD file. The "new" M$ patch exe file is now not running at all. So whatever stuff they "fixed" in that part of the upgrade will
NOT be applied to the simulator.
Simple scenery additions like bridges and such it is likely that they just added them to the scenery bgl's......so they
will show no matter what is done with the fs9.exe file.
I think the varying responses to what this stuff actually does (or does not do) shows that the "results" of such changes can be pretty subjective. Sometimes people see what they
think they should see.
