We had an earthquake here a few years ago. My monitor was sitting on a monitor stand that was clamped to my desk. Yes, you guessed right, A huge bite out of the desk where the stand was clamped. Monitor broke, desk broke, all CD's still working. O well, couldn't blame MS for the earthquake! :-X

My old CRT monitor weighs 41lbs, if you dropped that on a pack of CDs it would sureley do them in. As for codered; toughen up man! I can snap a CD with on hand!  ;D
