I downloaded a Canada file but can not get FS9 to see the file when I try to add it.

Is there some secret to adding the scenery?

make sur your path look like this
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\NB01-10\scenery

where NB01-10 is the name of the regions you wish to add it can be anything but I use part of the name of the download file. and all the files .bgl are in the scenery folder. then when you add this in FS it will find what ever bgl and create automaticaly a file scenery.dat in nb01-10 (or what ever name)

If you are wondering whether mesh improves things , here are two pics.

union between default FS2004 Northwest Territories (Canada) and the Yukon/Alaska mesh (76.4m)from FSGenesis

union between the default FS2004 Tibet area and the FSGenesis Tibet mesh (76.4m) ;

And the tibet mesh unuin is in a location where the mountains aren't at their best.

For some reason the "img" things weren't working on this post so you'll have to click them ;-)

"Probably because you're linking to another site?"

I was linking to pics on my webspace (paid for so notgeocities so that's not the problem).  I saw the " (img)www.webspace.com/yourpic(/img)  mthod (with square brackets of course) listed in help but that didn't work. Oh well
