I remember myself getting this problem one time and it was because there were two FS2004 registries in my registry area. What I did was run REGEDIT and deleted the FS2004 registries along with the FS2002 and uninstalled both. I deleted everything in each folder so that there were no FS folders on my HDD. I reinstalled both of them and they were working great again. :)

Hi APX_004, your advice brought about some progress. I did what you suggested and at least now I get past the opening screen and the game opens in full screen mode showing the options (flying lessens, create a flight etc.). I can fly the lessons, go into ACOF and fly soem of the options there, change planes etc. However, as soon as I choose create a flight, or choose a flight the system freeze again. A few more suggestions and I might have the problem fixed I guess. Thanks again and best regards.
