KC, I'm a bit confused about why these position settings are effecting you if your using trackir.....If I could make a few suggestions about getting the most out of your trackir.....on your stick/yoke pick two buttons that are easy access (preferably for your thumb) go into the trackir program and instead of f9 and f12 for center and on/off assign these two easy access buttons, when in the simulator you turn on trackir(if not on by default) sit in a comfortable position and press the centering button that you have assigned........if you are too zoomed in, then lean forward a little bit and press the centering button again, now when you relax back into your comfortable position you will be slightly zoomed out 8-) the same method applies for up and down, if your to low by default then lean down slightly before you press the center button, when you sit back up straight you will be able to see over the panel comfortably............trackir is fairly new to me also, but I tell you what!.........there is no going back, it's just the most amasing device, and I've wanted it for so long and I cant believe I didnt do it sooner

hopefully these ideas are of some help to you
