Why did you upgrade from FS2002?
If you didn't upgrade from FS2002, then please do not post, this is a survey to find out the main reasons why we spend a lot of money every other year, on a new version of FS.

ATC would let me land on 6L, 6R, 24L and 24R at Stevens Anchorage International. In 2002, it would only allow 14/32 landings/takeoffs, even if there was a 100 knot crosswind.

I was drawn by the interactive ATC and the opportunity to fly historical aircraft.

I actually bought it a week ago, it was only $30 and I had played round on a friend's PC and decided it was worth the upgrade.

I upgraded because of the better graphics, the new aircraft, the better ATC, the better GPS and a whole lot more that I do not feel like typing ;D. Mine only cost me $20 BTW, I did the mail in rebate ;D

easy, I upgraded for the same reason I upgraded from fs4 to fs5 to fs98 to fs200 to fs2002 to fs2004 and inn the future to fs2006! Because they were in their time a step foward! Because is the natural thing to do!  ;D

Really I was happy with FS2002, there wasnt much i wanted more, frame rates were beautiful in that... but I saw FS2004 for only 30 bucks when I got it, the graphics look slightly neater... and everyone was making cool addons for FS2004  :)
Cheers,
RB

My point exacty, there's never much improvement, You spend loads of money, and you could find most of it for free on the web.
