FS9 Aircraft

Postby jack_ryan » Thu Mar 01, 2012 3:32 pm

Hi All,

I have been "playing" with ms flight, and while it is fun it is not a sim.  I did notice one aircraft that I would really like to see in FS9, the Vans RV with the tri gear.  It reminds me of the Grumman AA1C which I have for FS9 but dont like all that much.  Anybody recommend a good Vans or simillar aircraft that is either payware or freeware?

Thanks,
Sean

I have been using the Payware Liberty XL-2 and have found it to be a fun airplane that is kinda similar, but am still looking for a tri gear low wing that flies like the RV.

Hmm would the Grumann AA-5B from Tim Conrad be a good example ?
Or the DR-400 from Yannick Lavigne ?
Or the Cirrus SR-22 from Wolfram Beckert, Guenter Kraemer and Thomas Roehl ?

All are freeware with nice exterior models and nice interactive virtual cockpits !

The aircraft recommended by Daube are excellent.   I like to fly an FS9 version of the C-46.  Lots of fun.   :)
