This is a first

The other night I was flying a flight from KMSP TO Koma using the default FS ATC when I was being vectored to runway 18 ATC asked me if I wanted the OVR Transition. I have flown countless of hours and never have I had ATC ask me if I wanted any transition. I have to admit it caught me off guard and almost crashed flying the transition.
For those not familiar with this OVR is one of the VOR'S you would use flying the MARWI STAR.
This is the first time I have ever had ATC use a star and I have been at more airports than you can shake a stick at.
I am currently flying for Delta Virtual and VATSIM and I am trying to be a member of the 50 state club 8-)

I always ask for transitions instead of vectors to avoid the FS ATC crazy vectors, but I have never had them ask me for them.
