Virtual Cockpit placement

Postby Sir Puma » Thu Aug 19, 2010 1:55 pm

I am having some issues with this Beech Bonanza. http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/syb2. ... onanza.zip The virtual cockpit seems to be placed about where the prop is, rather than where the pilot sits. Is that part of the AIR file or can I adjust it's position in the CFG file?

could you possibly show us a screenshot?    I would imagine by the problem that you are experiencing, that it does NOT have a VC (without actually downloading it just to look) and if it does not have one, then you are out of luck in adding one. It can NOT be added if it does not have one.

Sir,

Good news and bad news.

Open the aircraft.cfg with Notepad and find

[code][Views]
/eyepoint= 0.10, -0.92, 2.93

There is still more I can do, but most likely not till the end of the week. This is what I have so far, using default FS9 gauges...

Open the panel.cfg in Notepad and under ...

[Window01]
size_mm=456,378
window_size=0.5
position=7
BACKGROUND_COLOR=0,0,0
VISIBLE=0
ident=GPS_PANEL

gauge02=fs9gps!gps_500,

WOW, that is kick butt. I didn't expect someone to do the work for me, just guide me a little. Sorry I didn't get back here sooner, but that's just amazing. I really do like this aircraft. There aren't very many Bonanzas out there for FS9. Thanks for all your hard work.

I would like to play with the panel and such. This is a good panel here. http://www.avsim.com/pages/1002/carenado/ss9.jpg It looks very realistic.

I've been looking around at real cockpit photos and I may want to completely redo the regular panel and VC panel to match and look closer to the real thing.
