No Pan

Postby Capt.Propwash » Sat Jun 12, 2010 9:26 pm

I have recently developed a bug.  In the VC I am no long able to pan around to see what is going on.  If I try to pan, it is EXTREMELY choppy and goes immediately back to dead center.

[CONTROLS]
KBDAIL=64
KBDELEV=64
KBDRUD=64
PAN_RATE=700

is what the FS9.CFG is currently set as.

i have tried PAN_RATE=400  (actually everthing between 200 and 800 and nothing matters)

anyone have any ideas what is going on???? This happens with EVERY aircraft, Addon and Default, every airport.

Are you able to pan (using the hat switch) when not in VC mode?

assignments: View (pan) :: Hatswitch [full repeat]

yes i can pan around outside with no problem.  2d, will 'snap to' the left, right, ceiling, headrest, and all others with no problem.   VC=if i am sitting still, not moving, i can look around.  The second that I apply power.. I can NOT look around anymore.

as for your line.. pan_in_cockpit_mode=1  Where would i put this in the .cfg? under controls????

Silly as it sounds, there is also a key stroke that centers your view. Make sure you don't have any stuck keys.

just noticed something.... when in the VC, not only can I NOT pan around, but if i take a hard bank turn, the view slides to the direction that I would be facing.... Almost like I would have TRACKIR and you turn your head to see where you are going... its trying to turn my view to show me but its not quite doing it completely.

UGH this is annoying as hell!!!!! Did I install something that messes with views??? Are there programs out there that would do these things that I am describing???  I dont care what the program is, just someone please help me figure this out!
