Short Stirling problem

Hi all.
Has anyone else tried the Short Stirling on page 115 of FS2004 Vintage page (s29_v5)? For some reason mine flies straight and level with a 10 degree nose down attitude. Very strange.

I'm not familiar with that model, but for starters you might want to play with the payload a little (Aircraft/ Fuel and Payload).

Might be too much lift in cruise. Look to see if you have a [flight_tuning] section in the aircraft.cfg. If so, the first entry will be 'cruise_lift_scalar='; decreasing this number will raise the nose in level flight.

Thanks for the idea but I have changed the "cruise_lift_ scalar" from 1.0 to 0.1 in stages but it made no difference.
Here is the flight tuning entry;

Well, I'm ashamed to say that a complete failure on my part to read the reference material which is supplied with the download has resulted in me applying way to much throttle and therefore speed and if you keep to the published speed the aircraft does not pitch down at all. In fact it looks really nice and is definately a "keeper" in my hanger.

i dont have this aircraft in question, but i do sometimes get the same affect on my F14D Rev3 when I have flaps @ 2 notches, and i have the throttle up a little too high and I try to trim it out level.  .... the nose goes -5 to -10 degrees pitch, but the aircraft gains altitude like a rocket instead of gently falling to the earth.      Slow down, and it will level itself off with the flaps.
