But why is it that payware products only list that its compadible with FSX or 9? If they can both work on both game?



Because they either:

a) Made two versions with each version of the FS SDK making the FSX one only for FSX


or


b) They assume (correctly so) that the average user will have no idea how to convert in either direction, and/or doesn't want that process done to their software.

The most likely reason is because they have modified some textures and/or Material Properties to eliminate "problems" when loaded into FSX. Examples of which would be interior glass that's no longer transparent, VC gauges and panel textures being "chromed," and prop disks that're not transparent, and possibly gauge replacements for those which are incompatible with FSX.

It is changes such as those listed above that would prevent one from using the product in FS9 without "down-converting" the "fixes" such that they'd load and display properly...  ;D

I have several FSX planes and they all work wonderfully in FS9...


This is why....ARRRGHGGG!!


They are not FSX Airplanes they are FS9 airplanes Build using an Old OBSOLETE system (FS9-SDK) build it using bgl codes ,FSX airplane are based under XML code assembly
