The big breakthrough came last week when I found out how to check the 'contact points' - the parts of the .cfg file that tell the computer where the wheels and tailskid are - and found that they were miles out.......
I'd always previously thought that the fact that the aeroplane had a tendency to bounce three or four times on landing, and also to turn over if you turned too fast when taxiing, was 'brilliant design,' replicating a 'tricky' high-performance aeroplane.

And I can get properly lazy and use the autopilot on long trips, and even do IFR landings........
No idea if anyone else likes the DH88 Comet as much as I do. But if anyone does, I'd be happy to write out the various mods and put them on as a download.
Anyone else out there like flying the DH88 Comet?
