Any other DH88 Comet fans out there?

It's always been one of my favourite aeroplanes, but as I get older (and lazier) I've begun 'improving' it. So far, I've designed and 'fitted' a proper (miniature) autopilot; then followed up with a sub-panel giving me ADF and letting me set the Transponder Code; then fitted a cowl flaps indicator (I was always forgetting to close them).

The big breakthrough came last week when I found out how to check the 'contact points' - the parts of the .cfg file that tell the computer where the wheels and tailskid are - and found that they were miles out.......

I'd always previously thought that the fact that the aeroplane had a tendency to bounce three or four times on landing, and also to turn over if you turned too fast when taxiing, was 'brilliant design,' replicating a 'tricky' high-performance aeroplane. :) But I now have a Comet that taxies, takes off, and lands without you feeling that you're risking your neck every time.........

And I can get properly lazy and use the autopilot on long trips, and even do IFR landings........

No idea if anyone else likes the DH88 Comet as much as I do. But if anyone does, I'd be happy to write out the various mods and put them on as a download.

Anyone else out there like flying the DH88 Comet?
