Engine Oil Pressure

Postby flipside » Sun Apr 19, 2009 7:33 pm

How would I go about regulating the engine oil pressure so as to turn off the annoying "low oil pressure" warning lights? I assume it is somewhere in the aircraft.cfg file. Even at full throttle the oil pressure stays too low to turn off the warning lights. The aircraft in question: DeHavilland Caribou C7 Bluestream Airlines; the default panel.

Being an Over-the-Road Truck Driver, anytime I see a gauge that is reading out of its normal range means trouble. I would like to see the oil pressure gauges reading in their normal range. When they aren't :-[, although it's only a game, it is irritating. Habit I suppose.

...one of the disadvantages of being a mechanic... ;D..!

I spend far too long gazing at the various gauges on my Default Beech Baron 58....and worrying about them....when I should be keeping

A program called AirEd.  It is in our library.... I think under "Utilities".

Be careful with it; you can royally screw up a model.  BACK UP original files!!!!!!

You could just delete that sound file.   I once had an annoying TERRAIN TERRAIN at 30,000ft which stopped after I removed that particular sound  file  8-)
When the c**p hits the fan, get a tent.
