Postby tcco94 » Tue Apr 14, 2009 9:35 pm

Okay well I have a laptop and ive flown FS9 for this whole week so im trying to get it to work with me big huge monitor but when I go to the full screen mode on FS9 it starts to glitch or whatever.

Its starts flashing the desktop then the black loading FS9 screen then the desktop..and it keeps going on...

is there anyway to fix this because I would like the fly my FS9 on my large monitor screen?

1 what is the screen resolution for your Big Monitor ... also the size?? 19" ? 21? 72 [smiley=evil.gif]

2. what video card do you have, and what setting do you have it set as?

i am not that savy with monitors or hardware, you might have to wait for someone that has more knowledge to fly by..... but in the mean time, you might want to check the resolution set in FS to see if it is set at 1680 x 1050 for your 22" monitor, or if it is set at 1020 x 768.  if it is 1020x768 then it might give you problems.

Then again, you might be having video card problems (its not able to produce the 1680 x 1050 needed for the larger screen.)

This is just my pionic observation from someone that doesnt know that much about vid cards, or hardware. ...... just a thought that you could look into for the time being.

Okay well there was no 1680 X 1050 :-/
I picked the biggest size I could and it wont work only in full screen.

Im gunna try to delete the FS9.cfg then see if it will auto adjust the screen with my widescreen in. 8-)
