kneeboard Reference Help, Please

Postby Jaypee Dippel » Tue Jan 27, 2009 11:29 pm

I tried to use a Microsoft word document, doc or docx for my Kneeboard Reference but it did not show. The only thing that has shown up on the kneeboard is an original html or notepad txt. (which of course is text only). I would like to have something I can display images on such as maps or panel diagrams. Is there something that will work besides txt or html?

The file name and aircraft.cfg entry match

kb_reference=S-51_Dragonfly

File name S-51_Dragonfly.doc (or docx) :-?

The accepted formats are .txt and .htm (html).

You should be able to show images in html format. Additionally you can have links to web pages, for instance to airnav.com for airport diagrams.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

O.K. I guess it's gotta be htm. I was hopeing to use an on board document rather than an on line one. Thank's Dave.

EDIT ADDED:  For the latest version of the PDF Kneeboard program (available for FS2004 and for FSX) use this link:

Hope this helps.
