Viewpoint Angle

I know you can change the viewpoint in the VC to where ever you want.
But is there anyway to change the angle at which it starts and resets to?
Say, looking 45o down.

Recorder is about the only way to do it; and it's a pretty good way - it's a superb addon, IMO. There sure isn't a way to do it in the .cfg; I spent three hours the other day trying to come up with something; to no effect other than frustration.
