No idea why this is happening.

Postby Jersey Flyer » Mon Oct 13, 2008 1:53 pm

The other day I was doing a flight on My CaptainSim 757-200 and out of the blue for no exact reason at all, my "esc" key does not work, my "F keys" do not work, and my "1234567890-=" wont work. My "~" key does work though (opening up my ATC menu", but yeah the rest of those keys dont work. Any ideas why this is happening?

USB or PS2? Not that it matters much, but I'd start with the obvious first, making sure it's fully plugged in. If it's USB, you might try a different port, letting Windows detect it as new hardware.

I went to my settings, and reset the default key commands, and now it works perfectly, I guess that was more of just a human error than FS.  ;D

I had a similar problem with my stick. I wiped out all the default settings because I could not remember what Button 1, 2, et cetera did. I use the keyboard for most things. Upon the next start-up, I had no view toggling. Then, in desperation, I restored the defaults and all was wonderful again...
My system: AMD Phenom 9500 cpu, 2 x eVGA e-GeForce 8800GTS Superclocked vidcards (640Mb DDR3 each), Zalman "sunflower" 9700 fan, Gigabyte GA-M57SLI-S4 mobo, 4Gb G.Skill PC2-6400 DDR2 800Mhz RAM, 2 x Sony 20X DVD writers, Thermaltake Toughpower 8
