How can this be?

Postby Conan Edogawa » Sat Jul 05, 2008 6:25 am

Hi,

just flew online rom Frankfurt EDDF to Kai Tak VHHX. After 11 hours of flight (!!!!!!!!), I finally touched down on Rwy13.

Reverser set, Spoilers activated and slowing down, then SUDDENLY:

"crash"  :o :o :o :'( :'( :'( >:( >:( >:(

Why? I simply don't know! The whole flight was to perfect to crash, the landing golden! and FSP said "you hit the runway with a minus rate of 172ft/min. How? Main wheels already touched down, I couldn't have been descending more. And it's not a pretty high descent rate.

Scenery is by 9Dragons.

How in the name of the lord can happen something like that??!

That really depresses me, because I don't see my fault in that! It just crashed and all the points I would've got in FSP are gone just like that.

And it was all so perfect until that very moment... :'(

Crafty Fozz selects:

Realism: Tick;.... "Ignore Crash Damage"...

..and anything else that is likely to spoil my overall flight..;)...!

Never mind. Avoiding crashes is not that realistic, is it...

BTW, got some screenies of the flight right here:

I really enjoyed the flight anyway, especially over IVAO!

Sounds to me like FSP had an issue. I would try a short flight into VHHX with FSP and see if it happens again. And then try without FSP.
