How do I do it?

Postby homebrewer » Tue May 13, 2008 12:15 am

Downloaded a New York City file that has WTC in it. How do I put it into FS2004? Be gentle; I'm a newbie...

Can you provide a bit more information please - is there no installation instruction?  generally these downloads describe what needs doing since there are so many different ways.  Perhaps easiest is to tell us what file it is.  Then we can take a look and offer the advice

The file New York City Text.txt explains what you need to do.

Copy the contents of the scenery folder in New York City to the Addon Scenery\scenery folder of your FS9 installation and the texture folder to the Addon Scenery\texture folder

You also need to read the file AbacusEZLibraries.txt which explains how to install the object libraries

Sounds like it borders on almost too simple. That means I will screw it up and have more trouble with it than my parents did in raising me...
