Micro-Stutters?

Postby sziegler » Mon May 05, 2008 11:04 am

Hi: I have been running FS2004 for a long time now...Get good frame rates, etc...Suddenly I have started getting the "micro-stutters" on landing and some turns...Can someone suggest which features to turn down to solve this? (or any other suggestions) I have defragged regularly and have not recently loaded any major add-ons...Thanks a lot...

Hello Steve....

When this happens, do you notice your Hard Drive light blinking?

A sign that the necessary data is spooling off your hard drive, freezing the Sim, instead of your high-speed Memory.... ::)...!

Have you sufficient Memory installed....2+ GB?

Paul...G-BPLF... 8-)...!

P.S. LOCK your Frame Rate to 20/25 Max.
Reduce your "Visibility" in the Weather Option.

Hi, I had similar problem... check your cooling system (fan)... I believed refrigeration is modding matter, but happened to me months ago. Chek Ventilation is OK, Dust-clear, Fan working, etc...
Sorry for my bad english.

That's kind of what I would suggest. Sounds like it might be a heat dissipation issue to me too.
