A Couple Of Questions

Hey all,just have a few questions I hope some people can answer.

1.)I've been looking for an add-on (Freeware) that can hopefully blend the  horizon line between the land and the sky,that straight line is making my sim look so un-realistic,so if there's a good bug free add-on that can help that,I'td be appreciated.

2.)I'm looking for some really realistic runway effects (Just runway,not taxiway),once again though the only ones I could find were REPro's which I didn't like,so if there are a few recommendation's to realistic runway textures it'd be appreciated.

3.)I've had FS2004 for months now,and have installed lot's of add-ons,running it in 32bit Windows Vista,though I haven't installed the patch by Microsoft 9.1,is it worth downloading,and what will be the benefits and non-benefits of downloading it,also is it still safe to apply the patch with FS2004 as it is now on my system with lot's of add-ons etc?

If anyone can answer a few of those questions,it'd be appreciated.

For #3, you cant install the patch after youve put ad-ons in the game, there's a message that flashes up saying ad-ons wont work properlly.

Thought so,I think I'll just leave the patch then,I'm not un-installing everything,it runs awesome as it is without the patch,so I'm not bothered,thanks for replying though,do you know about 1,2?

The 9.1 patch, however does fix a few issues, and adds a few bridges missing from 9.0. It's well worth having.

For number 1:
Search for        softhr07.zip     on avsim.com

For runway stuff (#2), I have found many texture replacement packages, and with most of these, I believe that you can just install the certain textures you want manually. These include the "Airport Environment Upgrade" series on Avsim, along with "ahs2u1cg.zip", or "aratsp.zip".
