[quote][color=#000000]I think this is one of those debates that has been driven straight into the ground time and time again . . . but, hey, let's not stop now!

;D ;)

Obviously, everyone should use what makes them happy.
A snail walks into a bar and the barman tells him there's a strict policy about having snails in the bar and so kicks him out. A year later the same snail re-enters the bar and asks the barman "What did you do that for?" :-)

I use both.

fs9 for IFR because I can use 3 monitors and run my garmin 396 w-gpsout and get good performance, and fsx for vfr because it's so damn pretty.
P4 duo 3.4,  4 gb ram dual geforce 5200's running a projector, 3 monitors, a simpit with Ch Throttle Quad, pedals, yoke, a hacked up and extended force feedback, a real Garmin 396 using gpsout, freetrack head tracking, a  F-16 seat, and yes

For now, I'm staying with FS9. I bought FSX, but it seemed like to have some detail in the scenery, I have to do massive upgrades or by a brand new hight end machine.  My machine isn't that old, but it can't effectively run FSX. Besides, I can more easily configure FS9 to my liking.
