Cant install game

Hello everyone. Ok so first let me say my copy is not new. I have installed it before. This was before the CPU change. I actually know what the problem is but cant figure out what to do.

Ok so it installs everything just fine. Then it gets to disc 4. It will not install the scenery, city, Tokyo. It will install everything else on the cd but the Tokyo file seems to be corrupt. I tried to find the file on the internet to manually install it, but having no luck. And it won

A corrupt/scratched disk. Had the same problem with my Phoenix.cab world.cab and paris.cab. Call Microsoft and they will send you another copy of FS2004.

I thought about doing that. I probily will if I cant find another way. It is just one file, if only I could find it.

But seriously, phone Microsoft and get them to send you another copy. There is usually no problems there.

Yes, MS will send you one for free.

You're better off asking MS for a fresh copy... who knows what they tag those folders with?

This is going to sound strange but if you are using NERO UNINSTALL it and try again. I had a similar problem when I tried to install FSX. A microsoft tech told me that NERO can interfere with the installation of both FSX and FS2004. If this is not the case the The call to good old M$ will do the trick. 8-)
