boeing 747-400 panel problems

Postby FsNovice » Thu Feb 21, 2008 2:11 pm

had a little dapple with the pmdg 747 a while back. Uninstalled it, but now the default panel has dodgy red and white specks all over the aircraft displays, such as the EICAS and artifical horizon. Any one know where the boeing 747-400 panel is on the fs cd or when i can get the panel on the net. Cheers, dont fly the 747 often, but need it to fly tommorow for british airways virtual.

that sounds like gauges not panel, do they work in the VC? I know I had to try and retreive some gauges from the disks after an uninstaller stole a bunch of default gauges on the way out (scorched earth policy  ::) ) It didnt go well!!
That being said it seems odd that the PMDG747 would have any connection to the default  :-?
I've never tried any of them, but I have seen alot of 747 panels in the panel section and some of them looked really good, maybe they might offer a quick fix for your flight.

Good point Romflyer. Most of the default gauges are in msgame3.cab on CD-2.
