LCD monitor won't support FS4

Postby maktec » Sat Feb 16, 2008 2:21 pm

I just tried to use FS 2004 on my new flatscreen LCD monitor, must be the resolution  problem,  the screen goes black and the display is in the lower right corner only,  Anyone know how to over come this?
Is it the screen resolution or the vid card>
Thanks

What model screen and which graphics card are you using and Windows XP or Vista?

Hi maktec, and welcome to Simv!

Try this, start your sim, wait for it to load everything, and when it's done, hit ALT+ENTER. that should return your sim to "windowed" mode. From there, go to "Options", then to "Settings" and then to "Display". Click on the hardware tab, and in the box labeled "Available display resolutions", select the one you have your desktop set to.

This may or may not work, but it's something to try.
