HELP!!!!

Postby 757200ba » Wed Jan 30, 2008 12:04 pm

Hello!!.I know that  the question "is this a good fs9 pc?" There are zillions of answers . But i just made a fresh installation of windows and fs (fs on secondary).I dont have any other ads.My fs is no maxed out.
i have it like "dense" on scenery, aircraft i have all flags( default).Hardware 1280*1024 32 (i saw here that this res. is good (?)), global --massive,filtering-trilinear, no AA, mip mapping 8, hardware rend 8.
It might miss something for a good advice i think.
My fps are limited to 20.When i start in Tacoma i get scenery all complete, but the airplane grey, after a few seconds it gets ok, if i rotate the plane the fps go from 20 (it never reaches 25) to 8.
I know that all this sounds confusing( and my English is not that good), but dont you think that my pc is "enough" to deal with fs9?
What to change?I know its hard, for you but i know there are loads of "Obi ones" there.I dont know what else i can do.
Please help, ideas tweaks, anything!! Undecided Cry.
This is my 'contraption"
Many thanks to all

Your system should certainly run FS9 better than that (although I don't know that video card)... I would try reducing all values except fps lock (lock it at 25 or so; don't leave it "unlimited"), including cloud rendering values, everything...then increase one value, start the sim, check the fps, then increase another value, etc.

The "grey airplane" thing indicates it might be your video card; I don't know.

It's also possible that your OS has a bunch of unnecessary stuff running in the background (automatic updates, etc)... sometimes this slows things down.

Many thanks all of you.I formated my HD and install again Fs9 (with the latest nvidia drivers and its ok, i cant max out everything, i locked at 25 fps, and it varies from 16 to 24,i think my pc can give more but... Im happy for now.
I used that cfg (garymbuska), but it took me2/4 fps. I think my pc has something "strange"
Many thanks to all, but any ideas please tell me
Many thanks
