Fs9 Crashes

Postby Tom... » Sun Jan 27, 2008 2:48 pm

Today FS9 just randomly decided not to load at all, i was flying fine turned of fs9 and my pc to go out then when i came back in i turned on fs9 and everything worked fine in the menu, i set up my flight then clicked fly and it just hangs at 0% Loading scenery objects, then that error reporting window comes up/
Im really annoyed because i just got Alrots new 727 and was going to take some shots but it doesnt work now =/ and this happens wherever in the world i choose

any suggestions?

Backup FS9.cfg and delete...Start up FS9 and see if it works...Always try the basics before doing uninstalls and all ;)

Tom, Groundbound,

I've got Alrot's new FSX 727 in FS9 with no problems - Alex has confirmed that it's FS9 compatible.

Sorry this doesn't get you any further forward, but it might help to remove a potential suspect.

;)

have you up-dated your sim to Ver 9.1?   you describe problems that sound related to GUI.

Update your video catalyst (drivers)
Up-date the sim to 9.1

delete the FS9.cfg found:
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9

...You may have to "Show all Files" if you dont see the folders.
Re-start sim.
