...HJG can't possibly support a panel version that's non-standard  or superseded !

OK. Please, if anyone is still reading this thread. DO NOT use the panel I suggested. I am very sorry for making such a stupid mistake. I will never do it again.

It may look complicated, but I figured out the panel on my own within about 20 minutes and was airborne in 30.  I probably could have cut that in half if I had read the manual.  It does help I have a 46" LCD for a computer monitor though, so many small buttons and annuciator lights.

I'm glad to know that "DAVYSIMS" :)

So far I'm aware, most folk aren't having any dificulty whatsoever with either the manual or implied complexities of the new panel.

Thanks again ! ;)

Don't worry, Paul. I'll be very carefull not to start a flaming war like in the FSX forums. I only suggested an alternative panel on which HJG replied with some good arguments not to use it. Maybe I could have been a little more subtle in my last post but ok. What's done is done. I'm glad HJG is now supporting this great small jetliner which I have been flying for the past few years. Although I will never admit to that ofcourse.......

@ Mark C. I want to wish you and your team succes with this great add-on. Keep the good work you do on all your planes up and I'm curious what your next project will be.

That's a closely and very jealously guarded secret

I pulled the normal "try first, read the manual as problems arise" move with this one. have most functions of the panel figured out (thank goodness for the autostart button :P). Also glad Matthias figured out how to keep the switches in the same place you left them last time... :P

Thanks to HJG, Matthias, and John on this wonderful plane and panel

@ Mark C. One last thing. Where has the AIS gone from the original ARNZ models? I kind of miss that little piece of scenery in the HJG models.

To be perfectly honest with you .... I wouldn't have a cue ! :-?

This is actually my very first introduction to the BAe 146.

Unfortunately I was never familiar with any of Jon's previous model version of this aircraft.

Feel free to post your query @ Jon on the HJG "BAe 146 SUPPORT" forum ;)
