Ground Resolution?

Postby ATPCaptain787 » Sat Nov 03, 2007 7:04 am

I know the default texture resoulution for FS9 is 5m, but is there any programs to make the global texture resolution more detailed? I know that Flight Terrain X is coming out for FSX in a year or so, but It didn't say anything about FS9 compatability.

I use ultimate terrain for FS9 and it works pretty good, but then it is only for the US so it does no good for other continents.

Well, I'm downloading NASA's STRM files from 2006, then changing them into .bgl files (found a converter on AVSIM). It might work for you, I'm trying it =P.

fs9 cannot support any higher texture resolutions above 5m. Both of the above addons don't change the texture resolution.

Ultimate Terrain is available for the US (including Alaska), Canada, and Europe... ;)
