Jaggies

Postby matt2190 » Sat Oct 20, 2007 11:44 am

I have not used FS9 for about a week because I was playing World in Conflict. Now every time I start up FS9 there is no anti-aliasing. I have looked at all the settings in the sim and have played with the setting in the graphics card control panel. I have also deleted the FS9.cfg and reverted to the previous drivers. I have no idea what to do next. Anyone know what the problem is?

PS. I am using an nvidia 7900GT.

Have you checked the actual nVidia setup to see if AA is turned on?

Yes I have tried all the different AA settings available but none of them made any changes.

Yeah that happens to my FS9 too...I just ticked the anti-aliasing in FS9 itself...I get fantastic performance so I'm not complaining...LOL... :D  ;D

Wow! That actually worked. ;D I did not think it was a good idea to do that, but my sim is now back to normal. Thanks a lot Ashar.

Sometimes you just have to take the plunge.  :)

Enjoy WiC, I'm jealous.

That's strange, some guys told me, not even to think about getting the AA checkbox checked inside FS9... :-?

I know...But nothing else works...The video card settings with Nhancer and all that don't work at all for me...Besides, I'm not getting any performance hit, so like I said, I'm not complaining ;D :D

Check out Nick N's post a while ago regarding this. ;)

Get nHancer and do what it says in the thread.

If you do this you don't need to have AA checked in the sim to achive AA.
